Includes photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of object (date unspecified); notes (date unspecified) are divided into two sections, the first entitled 'Silver medallion in Study Room showing figure with altar, cross and cardinal's hat over rampant lion within shield' and referring to object, registration number CG 018. The second section of the notes entitled 'Silver medallion in Study Room showing two figures, a male and a female' (this is the present object). States that this piece has quite a few points of similarity with an ivory mirror case held by the Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore. Also present are photocopies of extracts from unidentified publication (date unspecified) which show the mirror case.
