Description: File of material relating to a tazza. Includes photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of object (date unspecified); photocopy of extract from publication entitled '50 Treasures from the Hunt Collection' (Limerick: Hunt Museum Executive, 1993) by Patrick Doran which describes the tazza; letter and photocopy of same (13 June 1958) from 'John,' Victoria and Albert Museum, to 'Jack' (John Hunt, Senior). Writes that he was fascinated by the lapis lazuli cup Putzel (Gertrude Hunt) showed him when she last visited. Comments that it seems closely related to the Erasmus Homich drawings he has been working on. Ends by saying 'With love from Helen and myself' ; black and white photographs and photocopy of photograph of base of item (dates unspecified); Hunt Museum object comment sheet (10 July 1996) which gives remarks of Hugh Tait, formerly of British Museum, about the tazza. States that it is 'entirely' nineteenth century and that it may not be made of lapis lazuli.
